Noisettes, The Horrors, The Twang, Tommy Reilly, The Temper Trap and Will And The People head up the latest list of artists announced to join the T in the Park line up!
Still flying high in the charts this week with ‘Don’t Upset The Rhythm’, Noisettes’ winning formula of funky grooves and joyous 60’s twists will ignite the King Tut’s Wah Wah Tent on the Saturday 11th July.
Southend rockers The Horrors make their eagerly awaited return with epic new album ‘Primary Colours’ (out May 4th). The UK music press hailed ‘Primary Colours’ as one of the most accomplished and stylish sophomore albums from a British band in years. The Horrors will take to the Radio 1/NME Stage on Saturday 11th - expect a typically lively set from The Twang who will return to the site of one of their favourite festival shows to date with a new album in the wings. The Birmingham lads, whose debut album ‘Love It When I Feel Like This’ catapulted them to fame, will play the Futures Stage on Friday 10th.
Currently recording his debut album in Edwyn Collins’ studio in London, Orange Unsigned Act winner and home-grown talent Tommy Reilly will join his hero on the T in the Park line-up (stage and day details to be confirmed). Although at different stages in their career this will be a debut T in the Park performance for both acts!
Finally, the Futures Stage will introduce more new names to the T in the Park faithful with debut performances from The Temper Trap and Will and the People. Expect the captivating sound of grand guitars and pulsating rhythms from Aussie band The Temper Trap to get the crowds going on Sunday and the incredibly engaging live unit Will and the People to land more fans on Friday night.
