Healthy T 2010

Healthy T 2010

T IN THE PARK COMES BUT ONCE A YEAR, SO MAKE IT A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER!

With over 180 bands over the weekend, you’ll want to last the pace. There are a few easy things you can do to make sure you and your mates get the most out the experience. Watch your alcohol intake and drink plenty of water, and don’t forget breakfast, lunch and dinner, as you clock up more miles than you realise during the busy festival day.

By keeping an eye out for yourself and your friends, by eating well and not overdoing it you’ll feel much better, see loads more bands, and be able to last the pace. Be prepared for the weather, come wind, rain, or shine; it is Scotland after all!

Due to popular demand, there are now two Healthy T areas; one in the arena, and a shiny new area in the Campsite. Check out where they both are on the Cartoon map. Healthy T in the arena remains located by the leafy trees, close to the Red Bull Bedroom Jam Futures stage. A haven of all things tasty with a global kitchen to choose from, Healthy T makes a great meeting spot. Enjoy delicious food while lounging on giant cushions in the chill out tent, or soak up the sun on the picnic benches while enjoying the tunes or catching a break dancing display from The Flyin’ Jalapenos. The Advice and Welfare Tent will be back again offering you a chance to grab a confidential chat with professional advisors in a relaxed setting. Just watch out for those Bearded Kittens whose pranks may make you actually forget that there are bands on too!

New for 2010 is the welcome addition
of Healthy T in the Campsite

We’ve all heard that breakfast is the most important part of the day, and now there’s no excuse for not setting yourself up properly for the day’s adventures, as we’ve only gone and created a Healthy T area in the campsite where you can grab your morning cuppa, a smoothie, porridge or a cooked veggie breakfast, and all before the bands start!

Massage

Healthy T is expanding to offer a separate relaxing massage area offering:
Thai massage, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, Deep tissue, Reflexology, Indian Head all within our heavenly  sanctuary.  Prices range from £10-£30, depending on the length of time you book for.
If you would like to apply to work as a therapist, please go to www.realease.co.uk.

Refuel…
Why run on empty when there’s this lot and more to choose from? Festival faves Food from Argyll, wood baked oven pizza, buffalo burgers and venison sausages, stovies and filled baked spuds, falafels, sushi, crepes, Stoats porridge oats, homemade soup & bbq’d sweetcorn.

Rehydrate…
It’s thirsty work so do make sure you take advantage of the free water available from the drinking points around the site. There are free water points dotted around the arena and the campsite, including one in Healthy T, so it’s handy to carry an empty plastic bottle with you to help you stay topped up. The Healthy T Thirstbusters are back - as well as distributing water from their jetpacks they’ll be able to point you in the right direction of the nearest free water point.

Relax…
It’s about mind, body and soul. Healthy T is custom designed specially for your relaxation. It’s up to you whether you relax by soothing away those aches and pains with a relaxing massage, joining a drumming workshop or just enjoying the tunes.

Refresh…
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so Refresh yourself with a visit to the one of the two onsite Refresh Pamper Stations. The Campsite Refresh offers posh toilets, showers, hair washing, drying and straightening facilities, and Arena Refresh offers posh toilets, pampering and hair straightening.
